Discover South Fulton County: New Flavor Tour Showcases the South Metro’s Hidden Dining Gems

EAST POINT, GA — The Greater South Fulton Chamber is inviting residents, professionals, and food lovers to rediscover the incredible restaurants right in their own backyard with the launch of a new initiative: Discover South Fulton County.

Designed to spotlight the diverse dining scene across the eight cities served by the Chamber, the initiative kicks off this spring with the Flavor Tour Restaurant Crawl, a series of lunchtime experiences that combine networking, community connection, and great local food.

The first stop on the tour will take place  April 28th at Whisk Breakfast & Brunch in East Point, a beloved local spot known for its creative brunch menu and welcoming atmosphere.

“South Fulton County has an amazing collection of restaurants and entrepreneurs,” said representatives from the Greater South Fulton Chamber. “Many residents travel across metro Atlanta for dining experiences without realizing some incredible gems are right here in our communities. Discover South Fulton County is about changing that.”

During each Flavor Tour event, participants will visit participating restaurants, meet fellow professionals and community members, and sample signature menu items while building new connections.

Attendees will also receive a Flavor Passport, allowing them to collect stamps at participating restaurants throughout the series. As participants explore more stops across South Fulton County, they will progress toward recognition as South Fulton Flavor Champions and become eligible for special prizes and recognition at the Chamber’s future Flavor Awards.

The program is designed to support local restaurants, increase visibility for small businesses, and encourage residents to explore the unique dining experiences available throughout South Fulton County.

Whisk Breakfast & Brunch was selected as the inaugural stop for the series because of its strong community following and reputation for delivering memorable brunch experiences.

“Restaurants like Whisk represent the entrepreneurial spirit that drives South Fulton County’s business community,” the Chamber noted. “We’re excited to start the tour here and introduce even more people to the flavors that make this region special.”

The Chamber plans to expand the Flavor Tour throughout the year with additional restaurant stops, giving participants new opportunities to discover local dining destinations across the county.

Community members, Chamber members, and guests are invited to join the kickoff event and begin collecting stamps in their Flavor Passports.

After all, the Chamber says, you don’t have to fight Atlanta traffic to find great food.
